Downtown Store Grantham

Flooring Sales Assistant

Every day our customers are inspired by a range of quality products and services offered at our Downtown Store Grantham.  Our aim is to provide each customer with an exceptional service that complements our extensive product range and caters individually to their needs.  

As we head into our fantastic summer trading period we are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our Flooring department working 18 hours per week.

You will focus on offering excellent customer service in a busy and varied environment, building rapport with customers, and delivering expert product recommendations on a whole range of flooring and accompanying accessories to maximise sales opportunities.  You will also undertake general housekeeping within your area and till work, as required. 

Although full training will be provided, you will be at an advantage if you have relevant retail experience or an interest in interior design.

Hours are usually worked over three or four days a week during store opening times, including weekends.  Flexibility is key and you should be occasionally available to work varying shift patterns and differing days if required.

Sunday Sales Assistant

Every day our customers are inspired by a range of quality products and services offered at our Downtown Store Grantham.  Our aim is to provide each customer with an exceptional service that complements our extensive product range and caters individually to their needs.

As we head into our fantastic summer trading period, we are seeking a Sales Assistant to work on Sundays mainly on our till area, but occasionally covering across various departments including Soft Furnishings, Lighting and Bedding.

You will focus on offering excellent customer service in a busy and varied environment, building rapport with customers, and delivering expert product recommendations to maximise sales opportunities.  You will also undertake general housekeeping within your area and till work, as required. 

You will be at an advantage if you have relevant retail experience.  This is not essential, and training will be provided as required.

Hours are 6 per week usually worked during store opening times on Sundays, although some Saturday working occasionally may be required. Flexibility is key and you should be occasionally available to work varying shift patterns and differing days if required.

Administration Assistant

Our Downtown Grantham site continues to go from strength to strength.  To play a part in the day-to-day operation of our Grantham store, we are seeking an Assistant to join our Accounts Office team.

Duties include the management and maintenance of customer’s Premier and Rewards accounts, daily financial and banking administration, offering customers assistance with transactions using our till and stock control systems and facilitating our customers furniture orders, from the point of order to delivery, to liaison with suppliers, then communicating delivery dates and times to customers.  These are some of the duties that make this a varied, interesting and sometimes challenging role within our team.

You should be well presented and have excellent customer service skills. Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial. 

Hours are 30 per week worked on five days a week during store opening times, including weekends.  Flexibility is key and you should also be able to work additional hours or varying days occasionally, if required.

Downtown Store Boston

Restaurant Assistant

Our popular Downtown store Boston Restaurant has for many years offered our customers quality food and beverages and a well-earned rest from their shopping.  

To help play a part in day-to-day operations with our superb Restaurant team, we have an opportunity for an individual with a friendly, positive, and hardworking outlook to join our team as a Restaurant Assistant working 25 hours per week. 

As a Restaurant Assistant you will offer exemplary service to our customers in the delivery of meals and refreshments to their tables and will also assist with basic food preparation, till work, stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties.  

Ideally, you will already have the relevant skills and qualifications, having previously worked in a similar catering environment, however this is not essential.  

Hours are 25 per week usually worked on five days out of seven during store opening times.  A flexible approach to working days and times is required and you should be available to work varying days, including weekends and additional hours if required.

By when should I apply?

We review applications as we receive them, and we interview as soon as we have applicants we think are a good match.  You should therefore apply at your earliest convenience to avoid missing out.


Can I apply for more than one vacancy?
