Our Restaurant at Downtown Grantham has for many years offered our customers quality food and beverages and a well-earned rest from their shopping.
At an exciting time of change for our Restaurant, we are seeking a Chef to bring superb talent, ideas for specials and home baking, and pride in each order to bolster our existing offer.
Duties for this non-evening, no split-shift role include controlling and directing the food preparation process with other Cooks ensuring quality and consistency of orders, working closely with Restaurant management to determine food inventory needs and adhering to strict sanitisation and food hygiene considerations throughout your work.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in a busy kitchen, be creative, have knowledge of HACCP, be professional and reliable and have good time management, with the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
Salaries are negotiable depending on experience and capability. Full-time hours are worked over five days a week including weekends on a rota, all within store opening times. Flexibility is key and you should be occasionally available to work varying shift patterns, additional hours and differing days if required.

Restaurant Assistant (Weekends)
Our Restaurant at our Grantham site has for many years offered our customers quality food and beverages and a well-earned rest from their shopping.
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working Restaurant Assistant to support our busy Restaurant team at our Downtown Grantham store at weekends.
You will be at the heart of our operation, preparing and cooking orders, clearing tables, operating the pot wash and working the till. With the opportunity to learn barista skills, you will also be required to assist with stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties. Ideally you will have experience in a catering setting.
Hours are 6 per weekend worked on either Saturdays or Sundays. Flexibility is key and you should be occasionally available to work varying shift patterns, additional hours and differing days if required.

Cleaning Assistant
The cleanliness and sanitisation of our stores, offices and workspaces has never been more important. We strive to maintain excellent standards of hygiene and immaculate displays of our products for the benefit of customers and staff alike.
To ensure high standards of presentation across our Downtown Grantham site and enable us to offer a quality customer experience in an immaculate environment, we are seeking a part-time Assistant to join our Cleaning team.
Duties include preparing the store for trading ahead of opening, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of lobbies, entrances, offices, and the toilets within the whole site.
The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, be self-motivated, reliable and able to communicate effectively as part of a small, close-knit team.
Although not essential, applicants would be at an advantage if they have relevant cleaning experience.
Hours are negotiable between the hours of 8.30 and 4.30pm, working a four-weekly rota of an average of 29 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is key and you should be available to work varying days and additional hours if required.

How old do I need to be?
You must be school leaving age or older to work for us. In England, you can leave school on the last Friday in June if you’ll be 16 by the end of the summer holidays.
You can apply shortly before you finish school, but you won’t be able to start until after the last Friday in June.
By when should I apply?
We review applications as we receive them, and we interview as soon as we have applicants we think are a good match. You should therefore apply at your earliest convenience to avoid missing out.
