What does the Furniture Protection policy cover?

The policy covers accidental damage to upholstery, cabinet furniture, beds and mattresses — including spills, stains, rips, scratches, scuffs, and structural damage. You can find a full list of what's included above.


How much does the protection cost?

The cost of the policy depends on the value of your furniture order. Prices start from £100 and go up to £375 for higher-value items. Your sales advisor will confirm the exact price based on your purchase at the time of ordering.


How long does the protection last?

Furniture Protection provides cover for up to 5 years from the date of purchase.


Is there an excess to pay when I make a claim?

No. There is no excess to pay — you won’t be charged anything extra when you make a valid claim.


How many times can I claim?

You can make an unlimited number of claims throughout the protection period, provided each claim is for a separate incident.


What types of furniture are eligible?

The policy can be added to upholstery (like sofas and chairs), cabinet furniture (like dining tables, sideboards and wardrobes), and beds and mattresses.


How do I make a claim?

If something goes wrong, simply contact the claims team using the details provided in your policy documents. They’ll arrange for a repair, professional clean or replacement if needed.

Can I add protection after I’ve purchased my furniture?

Furniture Protection must be added at the time of purchase. If you’ve already placed an order, please contact us as soon as possible to see if it can still be added.


Is pet damage covered?

Yes, the policy has no limit of pet damage claims during the cover period. This includes scratching, chewing or tearing caused accidentally by a pet.


What isn’t covered?

The policy does not cover general wear and tear, deliberate damage, or faults covered by your manufacturer warranty. A full list of exclusions is available in the terms and conditions which are available upon request. 


Is this the same as a manufacturer warranty?

No — the Furniture Protection plan is separate. It covers accidental damage that isn’t usually included in a standard warranty, such as stains, spills or rips.
