ReActivePro™7 Pocket Springs - Each spring independently senses your shape and weight distribution, providing support and total spinal and body support. The more active turns in a single continuous pocket spring the greater its ability to sense the exact comfort and support requirement of you and your partner. A single continuous pocket spring also creates a "bellow-like" effect that drives cool air around the mattress and facilitates greater hygiene. This extra breathability ensures better ventilation, helping to reduce moisture and maintain a comfortable body temperature for a healthy, relaxing and energising night's sleep.

Red Tractor Assured Farms British Wool - British Wool is used in this mattress as a soft and insulating upholstery layer for added comfort. Wool is a natural insulator providing coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter. Offering superb comfort, it also has hygroscopic properties encouraging the evaporation of body moisture. This wool has the added benefit of the Red Tractor Scheme, which makes farms adhere to rigorous standards that cover the full farm supply chain, including animal welfare, traceability and environmental protection.

Organic Cotton Layer - Organic cotton is grown entirely without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers and the soil has been chemical free for at least the last three years. It is as good, soft and natural as conventionally farmed cotton and choosing organic cotton offers important benefits to you, the environment and cotton farm workers in developing countries. It is good for the environment, free from harmful toxic residues, good for allergy sufferers and people with chemical sensitivity. So, it is good for your health and wellbeing.

eOlus™ Sustainable Fibre - A sustainable raw material re-using discarded polymer-based bottles which helps conserve natural resources, decreases the use of landfill sites and reduces pollution. A unique vertically crimped design allowing air to pass through it easily, which actively helps to regulate body temperature. A breathable layer that reduces body temperature and moisture quicker than foam, yet with a similar soft feel and sponginess.

Chemical Free Belgian Damask Cover - With a soft to the touch damask cover which provides a soft, fresh and hygienic sleeping surface. The cover uses certified sustainable cotton yarn weaved into this damask cover.

Hand -Tufted - The traditional method of mattress upholstery where the fillings are secured by hand with tufts from the top of the mattress to the bottom to ensure all loose fillings are secured to provide the perfect finish.

2 Rows of Hand Side Stitching - Traditional hand-side stitching secures the outer springs to the border at the top and bottom preventing roll-out and is the most highly skilled and labour intensive of all the operations. Side-stitching is carried out by senior upholsterers using traditional long needles and twine to make borders and edges stronger. The effects on the mattress are quite dramatic preventing the springs from distorting and extending the sleeping area right up to the edge of the bed to make the borders and edges stronger.

Flag-stitched Handles - Handles on all sides for ease of positioning.

Chrome Air Vents - Chrome finished vents to allow good air circulation, regulate temperature and keep the mattress fresh.

100% Recyclable - This mattress is 100% recyclable at the end of its life.

Seasonal Turn - This Hypnos mattress should be turned once every 3-4 months. At this time, we recommend that you turn AND rotate the mattress. We would also suggest that for the first 3 months of use the mattress is rotated and flipped weekly just to encourage an even settlement of the high-quality fillings.

Divan Base Details

• Open Coil Firm Edge Base - This type of base contains springs in the top to help create a supportive feel that works in conjunction with the mattress. A sprung base can actually increase the life span of your mattress. 
• Divan Drawer Options - Superior quality drawers made from hardwood timber, featuring steel ball bearing runners for ultra-smooth operation. (Storage weight limit 20kg / 10kg for Continental Drawers and 7kg for smaller Continental Drawers).
• Hideaway Hypnos have developed this platform top base that offers a unique hidden storage cavity that is elegantly concealed by an upholstered valance.
• Super Storage Ottoman - This is a platform top, end opening ottoman that offers the perfect solution to rooms that require additional storage.

Furniture/Two Person Delivery

A two-person delivery is required for furniture, appliances and items over 30kgs. This costs £35 to postcodes within our local store catchment (40 miles) and £60 to postcodes outside of our catchment. 

Our delivery service is a "white-glove" service, and we will deliver to your room of choice and take packaging away if required.

Delivery will take between 5 - 10 working days for in-stock items.  For items that are available to order, the delivery timescales will be confirmed in the checkout. 

Deliveries to some remote postcodes are possible, and carry an additional premium delivery charge. This will be charged in checkout, but please contact us if you have any questions. 

We also offer a basic furniture assembly service for most furniture items, the cost of this varies depending on the item requiring assembly and your location. Please contact us for more information.

Please note that we do not offer free returns, so unless there is a fault with your item, then you will be required to cover the cost of returning it to us, or for us to collect the item.

Please be aware of the order cancellation policy attached to furniture products, and in particular, that items configured to your choice attract a 25% restocking fee.  In addition, it is very important to know that if it is not possible to gain access to the room of choice, with the product, then the cost of that failed delivery is met by the customer.  If an item in this instance is made to your specification, then the order cancellation policy also applies. 

One of the most appealing parts of divan bases is the extra storage they offer. Not only do you get a comfortable, solidly-built bed, but you get one, two or even four drawers in which you can store spare blankets, pillows or anything else you may like to tuck away.

We offer a range of different storage options; from 2 to 4 drawers, smaller continental sized drawers and even full or half ottomans, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Ottoman base: Usually a full or half ottoman, ottoman bed bases lift to allow full use of the internal space of the bed. Half-ottoman bases can sometimes be combined with drawers depending on the supplier.

Full drawers: Fill the bedframe with up to 4 full sized drawers for a divided storage option with easy to access storage of small to medium sized items. 

Half/Conti drawers: Half drawers are usually used in a continental arrangement, which is 2 full drawers with 2 half drawers, to give maximum storage space while still allowing room for a bedside table. 

Hideaway™ (Available on Hypnos beds only): Hypnos have created the clever Hideaway™ storage option which allows you to use the whole of the underside of your divan for storing items, whilst concealing them behind beautifully upholstered deep valances, which cover the full height of the divan base.

These practical and flexible pleated valances provide an exquisite, tailored finish and attractive detailing, whilst ensuring easy access to stored items. This unique choice of hidden storage is available for beds larger than a single (90cm) and is ideal for the storage of heavier and larger-sized items like suitcases and boxes.

SuperStorage™ (Available on Hypnos beds only): The Hypnos SuperStorage™ Base provides the ultimate storage solution. Simply lift up the top of the bed base, which is hinged, allowing you to use the entire divan base for storage.

Strong hydraulic pistons assist the lifting of the bed base top (with the mattress still in situ) and provides easy access to the huge and flexible space within, for the storage of additional pillows and bed linen etc.
