From textured to plain-dye bedding, you can also add an air of summer sophistication with a floral bedding set or escape to the seaside with a striped bedding set for a nautical refresh. We are delighted to bring you not only a range of colourful options that add instant character, but also a number of top brands including Morris & Co, Ted Baker and Joules to name just a few. For those who prefer something more neutral, Belledorm offer a range of minimalist yet comfortable duvets, pillowcases and bed sheets in simple colours such as white, black, ivory and cream so that you can finish your bedroom in your desired colour.
We appreciate it can be confusing when it comes to choosing your new bedding, with so many materials available. Cotton is the most popular, with 100% cotton bed sheets and duvet sets generally the most favoured fabric because it is breathable, soft and comfortable to sleep on. Pure cotton is also durable, easy to wash and long lasting. You may also see polycotton, which is a less expensive alternative but has easy-care qualities as polycotton dries quickly and largely will not require ironing. Brushed cotton is cosier and warmer, making it a great choice in winter. Egyptian cotton is a luxurious, extra soft and tight weave with a high thread count. Linen is a soft, light and breathable material that is common in the Summer and satin is a glossier, soft sheen that can be made from silk, nylon or polyester.
Duvet covers and sets are a popular bed linen choice with our customers because they often include pillowcases, saving the need for separate purchases. Single bedding sets usually include one duvet cover and one pillowcase whilst double bedding , king size and super king usually include the duvet cover and two pillowcases. Duvet sets will usually not contain an Oxford pillowcase, with the fringe, and but will contain pillowcases where stated. Where possible we always include this information on the product.

What is included in a duvet set? - Duvet sets will always include a duvet cover. Some also include pillowcases; if they do, this will be stated on the product. Single duvet sets will include a single pillowcase, whilst double, king and super king will include two pillowcases.
What size are your duvet sets? - At Downtown we stock the standard UK size of duvet covers. These are: Single Duvet 135x200cm, Double Duvet 200x200cm, King Duvet 230x200cm, Super King Duvet 260x220cm.
What colours do you sell? - We sell duvets in a variety of colours from minimalist white, ivory, cream and grey to floral patterns and jacquards from some of the UK's leading brands.
