The Stressless Consul Chair is packed with features that have comfort in mind, whilst not ignoring the concept of style. With a choice of small, medium and large you can pick the right size to suit you. Choose from a wide selection of gorgeous leathers and 5 wood colours to create the perfect look to fit in with your living space dcor.

Stressless have designed the chair with a 360-degree swivel base, designed to adjust with only the slightest push of your feet requiring little effort. The amazing glide and plus system have been created to ensure you can create the perfect position to suit you, in the smoothest way. The Consul features the sleep function which allows you to adjust the headrest flat for an afternoon snooze. The included footstool completes your Consul chair and will follow your movement when getting into position.

The Soft polyurethane foam pad ensure optimum softness and comfort and is covered by a sumptuous soft polyester fibre. The base is made with laminated beech wood and has a two-stem design for stability and creating a smooth turning action.

To add a little extra height to your chair, you can purchase the Stressless Elevator ring.

For total peace of mind, Stressless guarantee the internal mechanism on all recliners for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase. The 10 year guarantee covers the Plus-system and the internal metal frame, including the metal springs and gliding system. It does not cover damage to leather or woodwork or any faults or damage caused by the use of the product other than in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, as well as any faults or damage arising from any repairs made by any persons not authorised by the manufacturer.

All screens vary in colour reproduction and whilst every effort has been made to display the colour as accurately as possible it is for guidance only.

Please also bear in mind that leather is a natural product. No two hides are exactly the same and there may be subtle shade variation between pieces which is perfectly normal.

Furniture/Two Person Delivery

A two-person delivery is required for furniture, appliances and items over 30kgs. 

We offer different delivery options, depending on where your delivery address is. Local store delivery is within 40 miles of our stores and is our own fleet. Outside of this, we use partner carriers.

Standard Local Delivery is to room of choice only. This costs £45.

Premium Local Delivery is to room of choice, unpack, removal of packaging, and basic assembly (i.e. feet on sofas). This costs £69.

Standard National Delivery is to the front door only. This costs £45.

Premium National Delivery is delivery to room of choice, unpack and removal of packaging. This costs £69.

Premium+ National Delivery is everything you get with Premium, but with a more comprehensive assembly service for those items that require it. This costs £100.

Delivery will take between 5 - 10 working days for in-stock items.  For items that are available to order, the delivery timescales will be confirmed in the checkout. 

Deliveries to some remote postcodes are possible and carry an additional premium delivery charge. This will be charged in checkout, but please contact us if you have any questions. 

Please note that we do not offer free returns, so unless there is a fault with your item, then you will be required to cover the cost of returning it to us, or for us to collect the item.

Please be aware of the order cancellation policy attached to furniture products, and in particular, that items configured to your choice attract a 25% restocking fee.Note this fee also applies if you wish to change a made to order product. In addition, it is very important to know that if it is not possible to gain access to the room of choice, with the product, then the cost of that failed delivery is met by the customer.  If an item in this instance is made to your specification, then the order cancellation policy also applies. 

Click & Collect In-Store

Click and Collect is free, and is available on most of our non-furniture items, although please note that some exceptions do apply. If the product qualifies, then the option will be offered during the checkout, after you have entered your billing details. 

If you would like to collect furniture, then please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to arrange this.

You can choose to pay by finance on this product, enabling you to you spread the cost with either an Interest free option or an Interest bearing one. Once you add the product to your order, you can choose the “Apply for Finance" button, which is one of the payment options in the checkout. 

Interest Bearing Option

Choose this option if you want to spread your payments for up to 60 months!

• A minimum 10% deposit would be required
• You must take a minimum loan of £500.
• Then just choose the time period over which you want to pay the loan back.
• The monthly amount you need to pay, would be clearly demonstrated to you before you decide.

Interest Free Option

Choose this option if you want to avoid any interest charges on your loan amount.

• A minimum 20% deposit is required
• You must take a minimum loan of £500
• If you take a loan of between £500 and £1000, then you can only spread your payments over 12 months.
• If your loan is between £1000 and £2500, then you can choose to pay over 12 months OR 24 months
• If you borrow over £2500, then the payments can be spread to up to 36 months!
