As a company we value our staff and our communities. Every year each of our stores come together to choose the official Downtown Stores 'Charity of the year'.

Our teams throughout the business, and in each of our stores, work extremely hard to raise and donate time, and money, towards our chosen charity. Both staff members and customers alike help to raise money, through sponsorships, donations and special events in-store. 

We are thrilled to announce that the Downtown Stores 'Charity of the year' for 2023 is the Trussell Trust in partnership with the Grantham and Boston Foodbanks. We can't wait to get started with our fundraising efforts to help this incredible cause. Watch this space for details of our upcoming fundraising events and how to get involved.
